Who I Am

I have recently completed the PHD program in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Arizona State University . I defended successfully on July 29, 1998, and graduated from ASU on August 9, 1998. The Professor with whom I worked with is Dr. Dan Hirleman, where I emphasized in the modeling of light scattering from arbitrarily shaped particles placed on or below surfaces.  Currently I am employed by ASU Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as a Faculty Research Associate where I continue work on electromagnetic light scattering.

I have recently worked  as a visiting scientist at the Institute of Optical Research in Stockholm, Sweden.  Over there, I worked in the developement of a vectorized version of my electromagnetic scattering code DDSURF, which will be used in the evaluation of rough paper surfaces.
